Additionally, OnePlus released the OnePlus Pad Go, a tablet designed for individuals on a budget without sacrificing quality, a month ago.

After using the OnePlus Pad Go for about three weeks, I have had nothing but positive experiences. Due to its big screen size, it even appears to be a near relative of the iPad, which is now considered to be among the best premium tablets available. Additionally, a wider range of individuals may afford the OnePlus Pad Go due to its starting price of Rs 19,999. However, worth and cost are not the same thing. Find out if the OnePlus Pad Go is worth its price by reading on.

Review of the OnePlus Pad Go: battery, camera, and performance

The MediaTek Helio G99 CPU powers the OnePlus Pad Go, which comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 13.1. The tab performed well and didn’t lag too much on a daily basis. The tab is excellent for online browsing, playing games similar to arcade games, and watching over-the-top video.

It took a few seconds for the tab to start up when I initially turned it on. After that, though, I didn’t have any delays when using it. The internet browsed well, and the apps loaded fast. The absence of bloatware on this tab is the nicest feature.
Speaking of games, I’ve played a lot of them, including Asphalt 9, Temple Run, and BGMI. With BGMI running at low graphics settings, the game ran well and the huge display let the world of Asphalt 9 come to life. The loud speakers on the tab made the background music in the game really enjoyable.
When it comes to tabs, you don’t really believe a terrific performance when facing the camera. However, the OnePlus Pad Go comes as a surprise here. I took a few photos, and the results were very good. The camera performs much better in daytime. When it comes to making video calls, taking a few pictures, and scanning critical documents, the camera does the job well.

The tab’s battery lasted for almost 7 hours when I was continuously playing games and viewing films from Netflix. After watching Netflix for two hours, the battery dropped from 95% to 63%. And the battery indicated a 12 percent decline after 30 minutes of BGMI gaming.

The tab will have less battery drain if you are not using it for gaming or streaming OTT stuff. The tab lasted for nearly two days without any gaming or OTT content viewing. I mostly used this time to explore social media, read a few e-books, and respond to certain messages. Yes, you can text, phone, and do other things using the SIM card, and I believe this greatly expands the tab’s usefulness. There is a flawlessly functional Facial ID unlock feature. Still, a fingerprint scanner is absent.

Review of the OnePlus Pad Go: Design

The design of the OnePlus Pad Go is just amazing. It feels fantastic in the hand and has a luxury appearance and clean design. The tab’s soft sides make it comfortable to grip for a longer amount of time, OnePlus doesn’t provide a case in the packaging, I would advise adding a case as soon as possible, however you will need to purchase one yourself.
There are two textures on the rear panel. The back camera is housed in a slim, glossy material. The panel is softly matte on the remaining portions. I saw smudges and fingerprints on the shiny rear surface of the smartphone when I was using it. Smudges are expertly resisted by the matte portion. The OnePlus logo, which is imprinted in the center of the rear panel, definitely draws notice. The camera lens is enclosed by a glossy frame and grows. It is at a unique location—it is in the center. The tab is only available in one color, Halo Green, which has a smooth, calming appeal and is a very unique color.
There are two speakers and a power button on the top edge. There will be a SIM slot on the top edge of the LTE version of the tab as well. A second pair of speakers with a Type-C charging connector is located on the bottom edge, while the volume controls are located on the right. This tab does not have a 3.5mm jack.
3.55mm jack add would have been a nice touch. I still much like watch movies or web series using wired headphones or earphones since I don’t have to worry about running out of battery life. But still, this is not a major issue.

It is 25.80 cm in height, 18.94 cm in breadth, and 0.65 cm in thickness. It is light, weighing only 552 grams, and portable. I virtually always brought the tab to work and never felt like it was weighing down my backpack.

There’s an 11.6-inch display up front that looks really crisp and colorful. In the section on displays and audio, let’s discuss it in more detail.

Review of the OnePlus Pad Go: Display and sound

The LCD display panel that comes with the OnePlus Pad Go has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 2800 × 2000 pixels. Its brightness is 500 nits as well. I played games, watched a lot of OTT TV series and movies, and utilized the tab for work during my time with it. And the display didn’t let me down in the slightest. I would advise using a screen protector as smudges did appear on the screen.

I spent hours streaming a wide variety of video on the gadget, including the shows Rick and Morty, All in all, the display was really appealing, crisp, and colorful. It’s undoubtedly one of the greatest ways to view OTT TV and movies on the market, and I like the size of the display. Though apparent, the tab’s broad, symmetrical bezels on both sides don’t significantly detract from the viewing experience.

I caught up on several e-books and browsed social media on the tab as well. Because of the huge display, reading and browsing are made quite enjoyable here. When reading an article or simply browsing your Instagram feed, the 90Hz refresh rate does its magic and allows you to move quickly across the screen.

With Dolby Atmos speakers, the audio also makes a big impression. The sound instantly filled the room as I turned on the music on the gadget. A respectable bass level was also present.

That being said, it should be noted that when songs with a lot of rhythms are played at maximum level, they may not experience any distortion. However, you won’t realize it until you pay close attention to each beat of the music.

The audio is loud, clean, and good overall. Furthermore, there is nothing to be upset about.
